HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
CEA CAPA organized some outreach opportunities during our stay. One of them was to volunteer at a French school and prepare some english lessons. I did this about three times and really loved it. Teaching is what I want to go into and so it made me interested in teaching at an immersion school or an international school in the future.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class was definitely my photography elective. It was once a week, for three hours so the period of time allowed us to explore the city through the lens of a camera and capture simple but really beautiful moments. It was really fun to learn more about the subject and fall in love with photography!
